Registration for SciFinder and Analytical Methods
Access to CAS products, SciFinder and Analytical Methods, is authorized only to registered TAU community users. The same user account is used for both databases.
1. Register via TAU IP address specified, for example via your library computers, and use the following URL, to access the SciFinder user registration web page.
2. Follow the registration instructions, and please note that you have to provide your personal TAU e-mail address (not private e-mail address), in order to create a Username/Password account.
3. Confirm mail sent by CAS

When specifying a username and password:
1. Your username must be 5-15 characters and contain at least one letter. It must start with a letter or number, but may include numbers, dashes, underscores, periods, or @.
2. Your password must contain 7-15 characters and include at least three of the following:
- Letters
- Mixed upper- and lowercase letters
- Numbers
- Non-alphanumeric characters (e.g., @, #, %, &, *)
At least 2 of the characters in your password must be different from your username.
When you change your password, the new password must differ from your old password by at least 2 characters.
