Tel-Aviv Libraries are proud to invite you to a free Author Seminar by academic publisher Springer Nature. The topic of the seminar is "Publishing Scientific Research" and will be presented by Natalie Jacobs.

 

Topics that will be discussed:

  • Publishing articles: How to choose a journal, peer review, what do editors want?
  • Open Access: History, costs, benefits.
  • Impact in Academic Publishing: Impact Factors, Social Media, Google Scholar, Altmetrics.
  • Publishing Books: Different  types of books.
  • Tools available to you: SpringerLink, Author Academy.

The seminar is very useful and highly recommended to researchers and students of higher degrees. At the end of the seminar, Natalie will be happy to meet in person with researches who are interested in publishing an article or a book.
