Update book return rules
Dear readers,
During the next academic year Tel Aviv University libraries will upgrade to the Alma System that will replace ALEF, the system we have today.
One of the main changes will be: automatic book renewal will be possible up to one year only (if the book wasn't requested by another user)

At the end of the year the reader will return the book or return and borrow it again for another year
How does that concern me?
The new system will go live in July 2018. Readers with books from before July 2017 will get a notice letter to return their books to the library. In order to avoid a situation where you have to return all your books, we are preparing for the changes and ask you to check the books:
If you borrowed the book less than a year ago and still need the book – no need to do anything, if you don't need the book – bring it back to the library
If you borrowed the book over a year ago and still need the book – bring it to circulation desk to return and borrow again. if you don't need the book – bring it back to the library
You can check your loans via DaTA system when you are authorised with your university username.
