Aerial Photos

A collection of aerial photographs of the library includes aerial photographs donated by various bodies and contains mainly British photographs from 1944 and 1945 and aerial photographs taken by the State of Israel in the 1950s and 1960s. Pictures from the seventies onward exist but not fully deployed.

 

The aerial photographs of the Tel Aviv-Jaffa area are scanned and found in the library computers. They can be accessed and viewed without reservation during the library's opening hours.  

 

In order to receive photographs please fill in the order form. The order will be processed and a notification will be emailed to you within a few days.

 

When filling the form please specify what area you are interested in, important landmarks, nearby city etc. there is no need to specify street name, blocks and so on. The photos include large areas and don't contain such information.

 

How to write references for aerial photos and maps (Hebrew)

 

  • The aerial photos can be scanned in the library, copied to a USB device or sent via E-mail.
