Index Theologicus, also known as IxTheo (, provides extensive coverage in the fields of theology and religious studies. It references a balanced mix of books and journal articles, along with book reviews and various other types of content. While the majority of the articles date from 1980 onwards, the database also features a significant number of older books. The indexing of journals occurs within 24 hours after their reception by the Tübingen University Library. Although the results showcase articles from open access journals, they do not include materials from DTS online resources. Made available by the University of Tübingen, IxTheo is accessible to all users at no cost.
